University Calendars
Cal Poly operates on a ten-week quarter system. The calendar year is summer term through spring term of the following year. The following are links to Cal Poly calendars frequently accessed by parents.
Academic Calendars (2-3 years out): Lists the start and end dates of classes, finals, academic holidays and commencement for the next two-three years.
Fee Payment Schedule: Links to the university’s fee schedules for tuition, housing and dining plans.
Registration and Student Planning Calendars: Links to the quarterly registration rotations and student planning calendars.
University Housing Calendar: Lists the due dates for the housing application and housing and dining plan fee payments. List the dates housing assignments are released, move-in/move-out dates and holidays and new student orientation dates. Also lists the start and end dates of classes, finals and academic holidays.
Freshman Housing and Dining Fees: Lists the payment information and dates for freshman campus housing and dining plans.
Transfer Student Housing Fees: Lists the housing payment information and dates for transfer students.
Continuing Student Housing Fees: Lists the housing payment information and dates for continuing students.
Cal Poly Events and Entertainment Calendar: Lists campus performances, lectures and other campus events open to the public.
Athletics Calendar: Lists the schedule of games by sport. Select the name of the sport on the homepage. Then, click on “Schedule.”
Cal Poly’s Master Calendar of Events: Lists all activities scheduled on campus throughout the year.
